Dream come true!
I love, love Twitter. I am a certified Twitter-er. Not only it makes communication a lot easier but it brings me closer to my favorite celebrities. I have been a huge fan of Tweetie de Leon - Gonzalez since I was in elementary. Who would have thought that I'd get to send her a message and she'd reply?!!! How awesome was that!! Twitter made it all possible. Just last November, I messaged her because I'd like to send her a crochet bag that I made for her. And guess what?!!!! She allowed me to send it to her!! She's super nice! As Bianca Gonzalez would say it, Tweetie is her life peg. She is my life peg too. Actually, both of them are my life pegs. Tweetie de Leon is a wife, mother, model, endorser, entrepreneur and designer rolled into one. And she's so beautiful, fit, healthy and just gorgeous! When I turn the same age as she is now, I wanna be like her. I wanna be as accomplished as her. Now my next goal is to meet her in person. Sure, I'd be so star strucked when I see her. Oh, and to own something from her store TDLG (located at ATC). She makes really beautiful accessories, bags, clutches and apparels.

Crochet Ruffle Bag
I just finished the ruffle bag I've been working on for more than a week. My bag was inspired by this. It is so easy to do. Since I used smaller yarn and hook, I made lots of ruffles unlike the one in the internet, it has bigger ruffles but I like how it turned out. I am so happy I made a really nice bag. I will sure make more bags in different colors.

I used ratan for my handle. I bought it at Dapitan Arcade. If you're from Manila, PH, it's one of the places wherein you could find native stuff. |

Made of almost 4 yarns and measures 9 inches tall (handle not included) and 9.5 inches wide. It has a lining but wasn't able to take a picture. |

This dress was inspired by this blog. The blogger is a mom who made a dress for her daughter using a crochet collar. I bought a fabric and had this dress made. The crochet collar I made was attached to the dress. I actually have 2 more dress yet to be made which I will post here once it's done. |

Crochet Bow Hair Ties
This one is very easy to do. I made couple of crochet bows and attached hair ties at the back. And tadaaah!! I have cute hair accessories that kids will surely love! Oh, and it's very cheap. I bought the hair ties in Tutuban (if you're from the Philippines, you sure know this place because it has everything you need) at a very low price and I got like more than 50 pieces in one plastic. The crochet yarn is also very easy to do. One of these days, I'll blog how to make a bow although there are so many tutorials over the internet on how to do one. I only learn from searching the web. There are lots of people who generously share their talents and skills.
Try to make this one. This is a nice present to your family and friends especially to kids.

Crochet Bow Necklace
My first crochet necklace! A bow necklace!!! I find it really, really cute especially when paired with a simple tee and made in different colors. Instead of using a typical necklace chain I made a beaded chain to make it even more cuter. Bow size is 4 inches wide and 1.5 inches tall.I will write the pattern soon and will blog the step by step procedure of this necklace. :)

Crochet Mini Flower Ring
I've made a new crochet ring! It's smaller and really cute. And very easy to do. Remember the 3 - petal flower from my previous entry? It's the same pattern but you just have to add two more petals to make it five. I put a mini pearl at the middle and attached it to an adjustable ring using glue gun and voila, you have a very cute crochet ring.

Crochet 3 - petal flower
Last week when it was so flooded in our area I was stuck at home so I had so much time to make some crochet earrings. I was able to do about 17 pairs. The first earrings I made were quite big but the ones I've made last week were tiny 3 - petal flower or star. I made lots of tiny flowers and attached them to a earring hook. They're just too cute and colorful! Oh, and so easy to do!
How to do it? Here's the very easy pattern:
1. Make a magic ring.
2. Chain 3, 2 triple crochet, chain 4, 2 triple crochet, chain 3 and slip stitch to the magic ring.
3. Repeat no. 2 two times more (to create 3 petals) and fasten off.
Don't forget to pull the remaining string of the magic string to tighten the tiny flower.
Crochet Card Holder/Coin Purse
I just made crochet card holder/coin purse that will fit just fine in small bags and clutches. Not only it is easy to bring along because it's very light in weight but it can be fashionable and cute all at the same time. It could be made in different colors that could match your bag or outfit. It's size is 4 inches wide and 2.5 inches tall and could use as card holder and coin purse.
