She's the one

I finally saw the new movie of Star Cinema. I watched alone! Yeah, I am the most boring person. But I like watching movies alone and going to the mall by myself. So what can I say about the movie? I LOVED IT! It's so funny, romantic, with a touch of light drama which I like the most in a movie. I hate crying so much while watching a film. The story is beautiful. The script was well written. The cast was well chosen. I loved all the actors. They were all so great.

Bea Alonzo is Bea Alonzo. We have seen her grow up into a versatile actress. Who would forget One More Chance, The Mistress and Now That I Have You? No one will contest how good she is. And so pretty. She has become prettier as she gets older.

I only got to appreciate Dingdong Dantes and his acting skills in Encantadia and his 3 movies with Star Cinema. Star Cinema brings out the best in him maybe because they have really good story, script and directors. He's really good in this movie and not to mention, handsome.

Enrique Gil. No words for this young man. Handsome, singer, dancer and actor rolled into one. People were right when they say he is a revelation in this movie.

Maricar Reyes. The camera definitely loves her. Not only she is very pretty, she is also a good actress. I love watching her in tv and big screen. Her pretty face makes the film even more prettier. I just really love her. She's one of the reasons why I saw this movie.

This movie is a must see if you just wanna laugh and enjoy a good film. :)

Windows 8.1

After about 10 hours, my laptop is finally upgrade to Windows 8.1. (Disclaimer: number of hours may vary depending on the internet connection. Some may work faster.) The upgrade is available at the Windows Store for free. Before I clicked the download button, I read reviews first to make sure that I will know what to do if ever I encounter problems in downloading and installation. It is a good thing I didn't have any problems except that it took long hours to download.

Here are some (new things) I've noticed compared to Windows 8:

1. The touch screen is more responsive.
2. There's finally a Facebook for Windows. I like it because I am so lazy to log in so if I want to check on Facebook, I just use my BlackBerry but now that there's an application on Windows, I won't be needing the browser anymore.
3. In Windows 8, I can open 2 applications at the same time but the other one occupies 25% of the screen while the other occupies 75%. In Windows 8.1, I can use 2 applications at the same time and it will occupy the screen 50 - 50. It will be easier to type while watching a movie.
4. I can arrange the live tiles into smaller size. It will make the screen look neat and organized.

I am now very much contented with Windows 8.1 but if Microsoft will come up with much improved applications, I will be one very happy Windows user. :)

The Tomorrow People

Crochet Ruffle Bag

I just finished the ruffle bag I've been working on for more than a week. My bag was inspired by this. It is so easy to do. Since I used smaller yarn and hook, I made lots of ruffles unlike the one in the internet, it has bigger ruffles but I like how it turned out. I am so happy I made a really nice bag. I will sure make more bags in different colors.

I used ratan for my handle. I bought it at Dapitan Arcade. If you're from Manila, PH, it's one of the places wherein you could find native stuff.

Made of almost 4 yarns and measures 9 inches tall (handle not included) and 9.5 inches wide. It has a lining but wasn't able to take a picture.

My future projects

Visit a pair & a spare blog for instructions on how to do this DIY gladiator sandals. The blogger is a DIY genius!

How to do this? Check out Fave Crafts for the pattern and you can also find more arts and crafts in this website.

Image is from google.com. I was not able to find the original link but a crochet zigzag pattern will create this really nice bag.

It's back!!!!!

So, so happy! Hart of Dixie is back on its new season! I already watched the episode 1. Rachel Bilson aka Dr. Zoe Hart has gotten cuter and funnier! I am rooting for Zoe and George so I hope they could finally be together in this season.

Before I turn 30

I an turning 28 years old in a month and in 2 years time, I'd be 30. There are things that I wish I did but for some reason I didn't or couldn't. And here's the list of the things I'd like to do before I turn 30.

 1. Not the stupid - stupid but the stupid - i - wanna - have - fun. I am not exactly the person who knows how to have fun and am probably the most boring person anyone can ever met so at one point in my life I want to experience how to have a good fun!

2. Aaah! My ultimate dream! I wanna be able to travel alone and see the most beautiful places in the world bringing only a backpack, camera and mobile phone. There's just too many places that I haven't seen and I'm dying to go wherever my feet will bring me.

3. Finish my MBA. I didn't know how fun could it be to take up MBA and learn from great professors and classmates until I started going to UST Graduate School. I can't wait to finish it and probably study more. Whenever I'd be asked why am I taking up MBA, I always say I don't wanna stop learning.

4. Yes, a craft business. One of my dreams. I love arts and craft. I love crochet and I want to be able to open up my own business and show people my little talent.

5. I wanna meet a stranger and have fun with him or her. Or talk about life or anything under the sun. Sounds dangerous? I hope not. But I really think it would be so much fun to be lost with someone I just met or barely know or complete stranger.

6. This has to be the must - to - do. I totally love food high in cholesterol for some reasons and I barely workout. I really, really need to start living a healthier life so that when I get older, I will age gracefully and healthy. I wanna be Tweetie de Leon when I get older. She's the ultimate idol - model, wife, mother, entrepreneur and totally gorgeous woman at her 40s.

7. I've always wanted to be with someone older than me. Older I mean 5 0r 7 or 10 years older. And it's because I think they're mature enough to be in a relationship and I want and need someone who can put up with my immaturity and a bit of strong personality.

8. Grow a plant. I do not have a green thumb but I would love to grow my own herbs and vegetables. Isn't it nice to pick vegetables and herbs at your own garden?

9. Own a Louis Vuitton bag. It's classic and timeless. Need I say more?

10. Go out on a date with the biggest crush of my life or ask him out on a date!

Love Story

Last night I was browsing the internet and I stumbled upon a love story in a blog! Oh, you gotta read this one. The story has disappointment and pain which are inevitable to those who loves but full of hope, faith, inspiration and love. It is one of the most beautiful love stories I've ever read in my entire life. It's so real and touching. This story will make you believe in destiny and magic of love. It is the perfect definition of meant to be.

She's officially my fashion peg!

I never watched The OC. I was not a fan of Rachel Bilson until I started watching Hart of Dixie. I loved her in that series. She's too cute and adorable! She dresses so well! How could have I not noticed it before?! Ugh! She's now officially my peg in fashion! The series, on the other hand, is something you can enjoy watching because it's so light and a mixture of comedy, drama and romance. It's not as heavy as other tv series. You will cry a bit but mostly, you'll just smile while watching. I've seen all episodes of the first 2 seasons and now, I couldn't wait any longer til its return. Season 3 coming very, very soon!
